Any win on the road is a good one! Notice who stepped up in yesterday's game? Soph's Carin Horne, Ali Mann and Liz Hoenegger played huge roles as did freshman Kate Achter. I am starting to see some leadership from the younger players and that bodes well for this year and beyond!

BG now 5-4 and will play @Robert Morris Monday @10 AM...(???) Hope the game tracker is working at the office.

"People may not realize that this team (Saint Francis) doesn't lose. They don't lose at home; they don't lose, period. They have been in the NCAA Tournament eight of the last nine years, and they have four senior starters. I can't be more proud of our team for winning a close game. We have lost two close games earlier this year, and close games are what make and break your season. We could be sitting here (with a record of) 7-2, but we could also be 4-5. I can't be prouder; the kids stuck together, and that was a huge win for us."

Big Curt Miller quote there. He also said the Robert Morris game will not be a gimme.

Good job lady falcons! :supz: I honostly didn't see us winning that game the way Curt Miller was talking about how St. Francis has been in the NCAA Tourny 8 of 9 seasons and with four seniors on the team. They ladies must have really played extremely hard to get this one. Yeah, I guess the Robert Morris game won't be a gimme at all with a girl that averages near 20 rebounds a game playing for em'. We need to pick up the rebounding cuz' we're still getting beat in that area too much. Oh yeah, will this game be on radio around here at all?
