BG Women Win

BGSU women's basketball team beats Niagara 79-71. Chissy Steffen leads BG with 28 (I think). Team played pretty well. There are things to work on but that is normal at this time of the year. Got to watch it on the video feed from Niagara. Jassmine Matthews played briefly in the first half. She must have cleared to play earlier this week. That is good news. On to Purdue on Monday. One game at a time. GO BG!!

Nice to see Steffan having a big game. Get some confidence in herself early for her senior campaign! Those black uniforms are hideous, though. Call me grumpy or whatever, but black is not a school color. But it is kind of neat that the logo on the front matches the men's uniforms.

If Steffan is able to have more bust-out games like this, that will make BG very dangerous. Her and Rogers have to be the dynamos that drive the team, especially early on with so many new faces around. Hopefully those two are in really good shape because I have a feeling they'll be playing a lot of minutes.
