To take on the Wildcats, who've lost 2 straight after a 6-0 start. Illinois State beat NW by 18 last night. BG is 5-3 and this would be a nice win over a bigger conference. NW leads the all time series 2-1 but the two teams haven't played since the 80's.

Don't look now but the Akron women are off to a 7-1 start. Jodi Kest has been steadily building the Zips over here and they are looking to break into the MAC elite club. They've given us fits the last few years. BG and Miami come in at 5-3. toledo is the only MAC West team over .500 at 6-1. CMU, a bit of a surprise, is only 3-4.

In other MAC news, Ball State is reportedly down to just ONE player off the bench, due to a significant string of injuries.

I live right in downtown Chicago and its only about a 40 minute drive to NW. Might make the trip up and see my first women's game since 2009!
