2014 Verbal

Post by ccollin13 »

Rachel Myers, 5-7 G, out of Liberty-Benton.

According to the article, she currently plays PG for L-B, but her coach feels she will play off-guard at BG. She had offers from Toledo, Akron, and Findlay.

Recruits from Liberty-Benton (III) and Ottoville (IV). Both play in the smaller divisions in the state of Ohio. Not sure what that means if anything. If they can play, they can play. Nice to see local kids getting a chance if they can play.

You're talking about two of the better programs in the STATE, regardless of division, when you look at history. All they do is turn out talent. If both Toledo and Akron also offered, I'd say the recruiting was on the money. I guess time will decide.
