Ouch. Not looking good for the team in orange. BG trails by 17 at the 6 1/2 minute mark.

Osbourne from MU has 33 with about 4:30 to play...Falcons down by 15 or so....and NOT looking good at all, either offensively or defensively. [-o<

A LOSS! A very big LOSS at this time of year. That's a sweep for MU over the Falcons this year and drops them out of a 1st place tie in the East. ](*,)

Well, its looking grim now. We're 8-5 and looking at possibly finishing with a seed of 5 or higher depending on how the rest of the schedule breaks.

Any defeats in the last three and you can officially stick the fork in this team.

Hopefully this turns out to be a one-season anomaly, because its a little odd to not see the women dominating MAC play. I don't think they've had this many defeats in MAC play in a decade. It's great for the school to see them on top since our other programs rarely are, but maybe we've all just become jaded by the constant success this program has had. I know I have. I would hate to see it go into decline now that Miller is gone.

Of course, Millett Hall hasn't been a kind place to BG...our 28-4 2009 team that got shafted out of the NCAAs got beat at Miami late in the season which almost certainly the committee used to justify not including BG.

I wonder if Ali Mann's sudden resignation was the reason why the team played so poorly today. That has to have a major distracting impact on a team.

Miami shot the ball very well. Courtney Osborn, Miami's all time leading scorer, scored 33 points. Everything that she shot went in. It is hard to win when a team shoots around 50 percent from 3. We need to finish strong and be ready for the MAC Tournament wherever we are seeded.

Everything you wrote is true, but this team has been schizophrenic all year. One game they look like world beaters; the next they can't defend or hit the broad side of a barn. It's maddening.

With Mann resigning, it makes me wonder if there are some serious chemistry clashes on this team/staff that have played a big role in this uneven season.

I certainly hope whatever is going on gets corrected before next season. Obviously, this year isn't likely to turn around (it could, but it's unlikely), so let's hope things get back to the Falcon Way next year.

I agree that this team has been schizophrenic all season, but as someone said in one of the other threads, I think we've been a little spoiled as well. I think Roos is a very good coach, but Miller was one of the best coaches the MAC has ever seen. And, Slagle was such a great leader on last year's team. I think she is missed more than we might have expected.

It is a little strange to not be the team at the very top of the MAC, but I still feel confident that we can end the regular season with 3 wins anad get on a little bit of a roll heading into the MAC Tournament.

Have some faith in this team

Support them as you can

We have been spoiled and everyone else wants to beat us Osborn took about 50 more shots in warm-up after others went to lockerroom........3/4ths went in even handcuffs wouldn't stop her it took her 4 yrs to beat us twice & we played them alot.

GO!!!!! BG!!!!!! BG__ Roll Along!

BGSUE, you hit the nail on the head, support your team, good or bad. They have some great young players who will get better.
I wanted to shout out to the BG fans who were at our (Miami) game who stood and cheered for Courtney when she was presented a commemorative ball and kudos for becoming Miami's all-time leading scorere in WBB. Falcon fans are first class in my book, always have been. Good luck down the stretch (except against Miami, if we should meet again)!
