Buffalo is alittle scary played tough at their place
Loud home court advantage would be helpful
Make shots, rebound both ends
Defense, defense
Have fun

it up for a victory

results up to you
YOU CAN!

Good win for BG. As Roos said tonight after the game, you don't get pretty points this time of the year, only wins.

I'm quickly growing tired of the word "physical" as in "UB is a physical team". There were times, not only in the UB game but especially in the UB games, where our players end up looking like the tackling dummies for opponents who could also be on their wrestling team. I'm not so blind as to suggest our women never throw an elbow, but I don't think our women play dirty like I've seen other teams play.
I also understand the concept of "let 'em play," particularly on rebounds where two players go up, one gets the ball and the other can't help but make contact. That sort of play, however, can't be compared with Lex getting her nose broken again or Daniel getting laid out.
... just saying ...
Congratulations to the team for posting another W and for several plays neither the crowd or UB were prepared for.

Is there a difference between a "flagrant" foul and "fighting" DQ. Wasn't that called a flagrant foul last night?
She was basically a THUG the whole game and the officials let a lot of it go.

I don't believe there is a difference, but I could be wrong.
Any flagrant 2 foul is an ejection and fighting is a flagrant 2.
There are minor differences from HS to NCAA rules, but most are the same. Any flagrant in HS is an ejection and one game suspension. I don't have my rulebook on me where it explains the differences.

She's a FRESHMAN as well. Six more games with this bruiser.

I might pay to see the CMU vs Buffalo game the next time! They better bring the SWAT team and plenty of handcuffs!
Hopefully Buffalo will draw the scuds in the first game of the tournament. They may not win, but they will HURT a few people!!

checked boxsore and play by play #35 Loesing's foul listed as 5th and no names for technical fouls posted no info on flagrant foul either
so what did they call?
just threw her out so there was no mob scene
saw both games both bad for player interaction aspect

A Technical Foul - Flagarant 2 was called on her (that is what the official told us and we finally announced it after the two shots). There was also a notation made in the scorebook about the player being ejected.

Maybe the Stroh could host a no holds barred brawl between Buffalo and Central Michigan in the pre-season next year and let them take it out on each other. No jello or mud necessary, just a nice, clean, bloody brawl.
