First time watching the women in person today. So hard not to compare Jennifer to Curt. I know that's unfair...especially at this point in Jennifer's career.

But, they say teams take on a coaches personality. Curt would stomp and get in players faces. Watching the more laid back style of Jennifer is a change for me on the BG sidelines.

WMU got 11 points in the first 7 minutes, just 8 in the last 13 minutes of the half. Love that defensive effort.

20 more minutes. With any luck, BG will be up 20+ late and will be able to sit the regulars down the stretch...it's a long way to the championship.

BG's bench is contributing early, with Cairnduff, Papenfuss, Salinas, and Stein all putting in good minutes. Good to see - and something we need if BG is going to make a run in this tournament, to save the starters' legs.
