This is the time of year where basketball schedules start getting released. I like looking around different websites of schools that we played the previous year or are in regional conferences to see if they have released their schedules and to see if BG is on it if they have. Here is what I have found so far (from my own research and the already announced Hall of Fame challenge. If anyone else knows of or has found other nonconference games for the season feel free to add them to the list

Home
Niagara
St. Francis (PA)

Away
Ohio State (Hall of Fame Challenge Game)

Neutral Site
Marist (Hall of Fame Challenge Game at Ohio State)
Old Dominion (Hall of Fame Challenge Game at Ohio State)
Monmouth (Hall of Fame Challenge Game at Springfield, Mass)

I think we have home games with UMass and UW- Milwaukee. Away games with Purdue (again) and Butler. Not sure of anything else. I haven't confirmed these on schedules, but I remember Coach Roos mentioning them. I hope we will hear soon.

Opening game against Michigan, eh? Might be a bit brutal. But it's nice to see three Big 10 schools, especially that we're keeping up the series with Purdue.

Marist will be an excellent challenge, as they are really good mid-major program. That tournament should be a good test for the team! Also looking forward to it personally, because I just moved to Columbus for a job. I can't be a STH anymore but at least I can go to that tournament!

I like this non conference schedule for BG. Good challenges without being too easy or too hard. Like the story...just right.
