Haven't been really following either team this year.

Post by DustinXtreme »

How have both teams been doing? I've pretty much loss interest after some bull**** about two years ago. Being singled out by some A-Hole,because apparently I was being offensive and some other bull****. After that I couldn't seem to enjoy myself at any basketball game. I prefer Hockey as I can pretty much say what I want and not be singled out by some A-Hole on a power trip. Anyway, how have the teams been doing this year?

BG women's team is off to its best start in team history. Is that a coincidence that Dustin is not there?? After reading his epic post I can see he is singled out. Can't wait to see his letter to the editor in the Sentinel Tribune. Dustin this team is 9-1, has beaten two Big 10 teams, Michigan and OSU on their own floor and face Purdue tomorrow. A win tomorrow will probably have them ranked going into conference play. Now that you know how they are doing you can keep concentrating on hockey. I am sure your attitude and language doesn't offend anyone at the hockey games. Not yet at least.

Let's go one thing straight here. I have never used obscene language at ANY basketball game. I have told the refs they suck and that they are blind. I've never sworn are players or coaches of either team at a game. I've got a feeling as to why I was singled out and why he waited til I was at my seat by myself. His accusations were false and he knew it.

I'm sure ole Dusty will LOVE that CSC is now doing the security for hockey games now too. That should keep him away and get the hockey team winning more, since women's basketball is off to a great start with him not being there. A true win win all away around I say :-D \:D/

You think he should four-star himself? He seems more like a zero or one-star guy to me.

I see him as a four-star guy. He can f-bomb with either hand, he can go from 0 to 60-and-pissed in just seconds, and he knows how to get others involved. That's a four-star "tool" set in my mind!

Here we go again. This thread already has more posts than just about every single game thread for this season, and almost none of it has to do with basketball.

I don't particularly care about anyone's personal relationships with anyone else. I came here to share info on BG WBB: game updates, player updates, strengths and weaknesses, recruiting news. I and a few other people post a lot of that stuff and almost no one remarks on it; Dustin comes back, asks for updates on the teams, stirs up a little drama, and suddenly y'all come out of the woodwork and the board is active again.

I have plenty of other sources of women's basketball news, and places to share it where people actually want to talk basketball. You can find me on Rebkell or Twitter, if you want to have a conversation. I have no bad feelings towards any of you, and respect a lot of you for your loyalty and passion for our ladies' team. But I'm moving on because I'm not getting anything out of this board anymore.

Let's see these ladies beat Purdue today. BG currently leads 13-10. Go BG!

I have to agree with ccollin13. I admit that I haven't been as active on this board lately, but let's keep it on basketball.

Dustin, I am going to say this nicely and cordially: I respect your passion for BGSU. What I do not respect is the way you made your post. There is no need for your standoffish attitude. All you needed to say was you wanted an update on the season. No profanity, no need to recap the past.

Keep in mind, the coaches do read this board.

Let's all be supportive, POSITIVE fans for BG women's basketball. This is going to be a fantastic season and I can't wait to see it unfold further.

I seriously doubt if coaches read this board, but I'm sure a few player do. Coaches don't like their players reading message boards either, for obviously reasons.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns
When they all come down and did tricks for you
You never understood that it ain’t no good
You shouldn’t let other people get your kicks for you

Is it possible that Bob Dylan foresaw this thread in 1965?
