One development I haven't been pleased to see in recent years is the decline of KSU's women's basketball program. They were always good until recently, and their disappearance is hurting the conference as a whole.
Just have to keep playing out the string against the bottom feeders until the Akron game.

82-38 final. Great game by the Falcons! Almost everyone hit the score book! 24-3!
Like 24 said, the decline of KSU is sad to see. Still remember the first game I ever broadcasted: Jan 2009 at the MAC Center and we won that 77-72, I believe. One hell of a game - blood was pumping the whole time. Nervous as could be between the close game and myself fumbling over my words knowing I was on radio. LP dished in 20 points that night.

BG crushed Kent 82-38
WOW
Holds Kent to 12 points the second half
BG shoots 59%
Rogers and Halfhill only play 23 min.
The team has won 10 straight!!!!!
On a side note, Ball State is beating CMU. I really want CMU to win. We need to keep that quality RPI win. CMU losing to Ball State will drop CMU and BG RPI

Ball State has been a really weird team to figure out. They should've been much better this year seeing as they returned 4 of 5 starters, but they lost to this same KSU team earlier this year. Now they might knock off Central...go figure.
As long as CMU stays in the top 50 of the RPI by season's end, that victory of ours should still look pretty good. I'm actually looking closer at Marist, Iona, and Ohio State. All 3 of those teams were hanging around in the 50s last week and it would really, really benefit BG if those three teams got some positive results and moved into the top 50, especially OSU since we beat them away.

That's a huge comeback win for the Chippewas. Keeps their own at-large hopes alive should they not get past BG in the MAC tournament.

Back in the later 90's through about 2002, Kent State and tsun played for the MAC title every year. Bob Lindsay had a great program going at Kent. Then the AD over there got stupid and didn't renew his contract after a couple average years. Ever since, Kent has been one of the worst programs in the conference. Stupid move...

We were at the game, and thought we looked a bit flat in 1st half on def. Kent was getting a lot of inside stuff. 2 nod half saw more intensity and pressure, holding KSU to 12pts in that half. Two fresh got a lot of p.t., looked ok.
