...but the ladies won last night!!! Liz dominated down low like always and the freshmen Kate Achter continued to impress me. They started to let their early big lead slip but came back strong to finish how they should against Bucknell. I'm just upset we didn't get our free fries which was caused by some missed free throws late in the game.

The ladies looked pretty good in that game. Kate Ackter is somthing else. She was practicly unguardable the whole game. I'm surprised she only had 12 points, seemed like she had 20. Gee, I wonder if there is some plays in Coach Miller's arsenal that calls for isolation with Kate Ackter. But on the other hand way too many missed bunnies around the basket by our two lone 6'2 girls. Those were ridiculous.

OK... this is the final straw. Falconboy, you're an idiot. I have been reading posts for seasons now and you're the first person to downright piss me off. First of all, check bgsufalcons.com to learn how to spell names. Your spelling is terrible, especially the spelling of players' names.

Second of all, I am tired of reading posts based off of a stat sheet. I know what goes on at game. I go to the games. I am there and I have first-hand accounts at what goes on at these games. I have see other ay-ziggy-zoomba(ers) there. If I am not there I have a primary source of someone who played in the game.

Finally, you last post is awful. It is obvious to me, and i am sure other people, that you know hardly anything. By saying our 6'2" girls missed a lot of "bunnies". YOU'RE KIDDING ME!!! I know you read the stat sheet... Kelly Kapferer 1-1, Jill Lause 1-8. Kelly takes less than 3 shots a game. She does not get the time, or the play calls to take a lot of shots. Which is fine (she usually makes the one shot she takes a game.) I am tired of the team captian not getting the credit she deserves.

As previously read, the team captian is not necessarily the best player on the floor. The captian is the one who drives the team to win and off the floor, in the locker room, and around BG. Kelly does that. (Not to take anything away from Tene, she is also a great leader.)

Did you know that in high school Kelly averaged more than 30 points and more than 20 rebounds a game? And this was also in a very competitive league. She is also #8 all-time in rebounding in the state of Ohio.

Check your facts falconboy. I am tired of your pathetic arguments.

Sorry about the typos and misspellings and such. Sorry that ruins your day. I'll try to do better in that regard.Sheese. Now, as far as our post girls , yes we missed alot of bunnies around the basket for a couple of minutes in the last game. I should probably retract that it was only our lone 6'2 girls Kapfur and Lause , because Amber Flynn missed some very easy ones as too. Gosh , if Kapfur averaged 30ppg and 20 rebounds a game and played in a very competive leauge , then why is she playing for us and not the Lady Buckeys or Tennesee or UConn. :coo-coo: So unless Kelly played at a Div.1 or 2 high school I don't see your point. If she has those kind of skills why is she so far back on the bench? I don't believe Kelly has suffered any major injuries that I can remember so it can't be that. I may not scour the stat sheet of every game , but I still know my basketball buddy. And when I see a game in person , I can tell who's good and who isn't. So if you do indeed go to the games you would know something of what I'm talking about. I actually pay attention to how our girls play. Its in my nature to study what I'm watching. I've been watching/studying mens or womens basketball from college to the NBA since I was 5.

I too will jump on the Falconboy is an idiot bandwagon. I have not seen one logical statement in any of his threads. Obvisouly by his own admission, BG will never get good athletes because they must go to big powerhouse schools. Never mind all the other important reasons people use to choose the college they attend. Just because you study, it doesn't make you intelligent. Secondly truly well written statements don't need an emoticon. That should come through in the writting.
