While watching the in game updates, it was pretty obvious that this was a SLOPPY game. I think there were something like THIRTY-TWO. Turnovers between the 2 teams. UGLY!

I feel like a Michigan fan after the Appalachian State debacle. Bucknell? Really?

Wow...didn't even see that. You have two veteran leaders go combined 0-12 from the field. No surprise that we lost....

I could be wrong on this...dont know what their record was last yr., but I think they've been a pretty good program thru the yrs. As young as BG is, it hurts BIGTIME when rour most experienced players are shut out from the field.

Sounded from the radio broadcast that Bucknell did their homework on how to guard Mathews and Donovan...
Tough to lose the opener. Even tougher since it was at home...

According to the sheet they hand out at the games that lists the rosters and stats, Bucknell was 16-14 last year. Still, it was rough to see BG shoot 29% and lose at home. I guess the optimistic view would be that BG shot 29% from the field, two starters did not score, and they still almost won the game.

From the little bit of web-surfing I did on Iona, I wouldn't be surprised if they are MUCH better than Bucknell. Hopefully, BG makes big improvements from game one to game two.
