Lost 1st MAC game

Post by Class of 61 »

Falcon ladies took a hit at home today, losing 1st MAC game of season ,at home no less, to Ball St.
Hate to say it, but our long run of post season appearances could be over. We're too young, but more importantly lacking in depth with only 9 players on roster, with one experienced player seeing little or no time,. Hope the heck that I'm wrong but not looking good w/ 3 straight losses. [-o<

Too many key injuries, and too much youth. There's no way to know how the youngsters will do over the season, but if they don't grow up in a hurry, it's going to be a really bad season for a program that isn't used to them. I hope everyone can recover completely (I know the one player is taking a medical scholarship) and come back strong next year.

Since winning anything this season seems unlikely, they need to focus on player development and improvement. If the players can develop as hoped, and we get some good health, this team can come back with a vengeance next year and re-take its rightful position atop the league.

We were at the game and the shots refused to fall. We are definitely hurting right now...BG at Akron Wed night and the men are at Kent the same night. Decision time...

Erica is having surgery on January 8. That gives her a lot of time to recover from the surgery. If all goes right, she will be recovered for the start of practice in October 2015. I have not heard anything about Lauren. Yes, Leah Bolton is applying for a medical retirement from the NCAA. She will stay with the program in another role. I assume it will be like when Julie Gompers couldn't play back in the time of the Sweet 16 team.
