Where's Paul Krebs when you need him?

http://www.bgfalconmedia.com/women-s-co ... a74c2.html" target="_blank

35-49 and a need to take the team in a new direction.

Our current coach started 54-16, but the last 2+ years 24-52 with probably 13 games left.
Overall record at BG 78-68.

Something to note. Oh, but the killer recruits are coming next year. :butthead: If we get killer recruits, then it must be the bench coaching.

Look...we're all disappointed in the results we're seeing...but this seems a bit much

I think discussing the termination of Coach Roos is well warranted.

Yeah...I know...maybe it's the mooning thing. She should probably leave..but I don't think we need to make her look at our asses on the way out the door.

How about bringing in a new HC and reassign her to Associate? Keeps continuity and gives us hope that game day coaching improves...

Let's let the new AD clean out a few spots before the next hire is made, just in case they try to offer a suggestion.

We have purchased four season tickets since the 90's and unless Coach Roo's is gone, we will definitely not be getting them next year. They should be paying us to watch this train wreck!!! The players that are seniors have not improved since they got here. There is NO player development under this coaching staff.

I really, REALLY like Coach Roos but the record the last few years has been dismal. We used to OWN the MAC in women's hoops and now we are getting rolled almost on a nightly basis.

Roos needs to step down tonight or be fired tomorrow. This is pathetic. Anybody know where I can donate my $40,000 per year but I'm pulling from the Falcon Club. My family and I have been a supporter since 1983. But enough is enough.

I understand the frustration. But, change needs to be made above these coaches. It's a real problem.

What change above the coaches? The athletic director is in his first year and cannot spend money that is not budgeted to him to buy out coaches. The other personnel in the the athletic department report to the AD just like the coaches and do not hire/fire coaches. The university president has been there for about 6 years but has dealt with budget cuts and union contracts on the academic end. She is on her 3rd AD, making efforts to get change in fundraising/facilities/wins with each of her hires. Finally, the Board of Trustees are appointed by the governor.

That's your chain of command for each athletic program: coach - AD - university president - board of trustees - governor. Am I missing something?

Where do the fans fit into the chain of command

Nowhere...unless a group of them wants to pony up the $$$ for a buy out. And then..they're still not in the chain of command..they're just giving those who call the shots more options

From the politician (governor) down they all do their best in hopes of keeping public happy so they may continue on. The problem seems to be that each fan thinks that each of these people should make them happy with EVERY decision and EVERY outcome. That doesn't work very well.
