BG vs Miami.

Possibly BG 2nd best chance for a win the rest of the way out. Possibly today or in 2 weeks when Miami comes to the Stroh. Only good thing is I'll be watching the Men's game and not pay much attention to this game.

Tunein is screwed up, the same streaming, but Gametracker has the 35-35 tie with Lambert going crazy 16 points.

Lambert has hit some really DEEP 3's. We still make too many dumb mistakes trying to force action. And MU isn't that good so this CAN be a win if we play smart and under control.

Miami had a wide open 3 point shot for a chance at the win. How can you give anyone a wide open 3 after 2 timeouts to set up your defense. SMH

Funny. They bring Myers in for her free throw shooting and she missed 2 that would have iced the game. Scary.

That was a great substitution by Roos in the last 40 seconds putting in an 85% FT shooter who eventually got fouled with a chance to ice the game. Myers first shot was an in and outer but the second was nearly an air ball off the very front of the rim. Pressure too much???

As mentioned, BG currently holds the #9 seed. WMU currently is the #8 seed and with WMU winning today, they have officially secured no worse than the 8th seed.
BG, Miami, Akron and EMU cannot reach higher than 9th. Those will be your 4 road teams in the 1st round of the MAC Tournament.

Concerning the wide open three that almost won the game at the end, what about the two wide open threes that got Miami back in it inside the last forty seconds. Don't you tell the players to defend the three and give up the two? It's called common sense. Also, about 90% of the time our players take the ball inside, we see a block or a strip, a charging foul, or a missed bunny shot. Our forte is the three ball, and everything else they try offensively usually doesn't end well. They were very fortunate to come away with a W yesterday!

I didn't mind the 2 3's that got them back because it was within the flow and there were a couple nice screens, however, coming out of 2 straight time outs to defend that to me is inexcusable. Very fortunate to get the win. And we are #9 seed. Yeah baby.
