Well..Cullop finally got them over the hump. She's a good coach..about time she brought home a title. It's not like we're close right now.

The last seven years have seen seven women's teams win the MAC Tournament. I believe 3 have been from the East and 4 form the West. If that is good or bad can be debated in another thread. The point I am making is there is quite a bit of balance right now in MAC women's hoops. Obviously I want BG in the mix every year. But I don't enjoy seeing one team with a cake walk to the auto bid every year.

Either way, when the MAC sends a #6 seed from its own tourn. to the NCAA's, its almost a guaranteed 14-16 seed at best. Heck someone even had written that had Akron's mens team had won, they'd have been a 13 seed in NCAA. So don't see Kent being that good, though 9 of 10 to close season might help.

Toledo gets a #10 seed, kind of surprising, unfortunately for their fans, the play Creighton out in Oregon. Not many fans for them.

Not much love for Big 10. Maryland ranked #3 in nation is a #3 seed, the worst of the 3 seeds, so that's basically a #12 ranking yet #3 in nation. Ohio State gets #5 seed. And Purdue and MSU get #9 seeds. Only 4 Big 10 teams and Michigan with 22 wins, finished higher than Purdue and MSU is left out. Still surprised to see Toledo a #10 seed.
