Say all that you want about Bowling Green struggles this year but in general the MAC had its highest total RPI ranking I believe ever.

The conference finished #9 in total RPI. Toledo, received the second highest seeding ever of a MAC school, #10, second highest to #7 BG in its sweet 16 season.

CMU was listed as one of the first few teams left out. Had they not lost in the 1st round of the MAC Tournament their RPI would been in the 30s, and may been an at large team.

5 teams were selected to the Women's NOT.

Overall, a pretty good year. Over half the conference in the NCAA and NIT Tournament.

Surprised to see that high a seed for UT. Figured a #6 seed in MAC tourn. Wouldn't get that much respect. Perhaps women's BB overall isn't that strong nationally?

That said, i DO think there was more parity in MAC women this yr. too bad we weren't a part of it.

Toledo also beat Dayton. Lost at UCLA by a basket. Also played Notre Dane close losing by 17, but was a 3 pt game in the 4th. They also won 11 out of its last 12. This will probably be the only Rockets program I will root for ever in post season play.

Ha Ha. You got me. I hate when I hear the reporters say that. Guess it's just a habit after writing Big 10 Conference, etc.
