Say all that you want about Bowling Green struggles this year but in general the MAC had its highest total RPI ranking I believe ever.
The conference finished #9 in total RPI. Toledo, received the second highest seeding ever of a MAC school, #10, second highest to #7 BG in its sweet 16 season.
CMU was listed as one of the first few teams left out. Had they not lost in the 1st round of the MAC Tournament their RPI would been in the 30s, and may been an at large team.
5 teams were selected to the Women's NOT.
Overall, a pretty good year. Over half the conference in the NCAA and NIT Tournament.
