I wanna see the game this Saturday at Savage Hall turn into a home game for the Falcons. I know we can get at least 50 students there. That would be huge. Metz, I know you and some of the band wanna be there. Last year the girls went into Savage Hall and beat Toledo at SH for the first time in a while.
We were there and Toledo basically had no cheering section. Of course, the band yelled obscenities, but we get that everywhere in the MAC, except at Anderson Arena. We have the only band that actually cheers for our team, not against the visiting team... which is awesome! Of course they yelled things at Coach Miller and our players, which is fine, we will never stoop to that level.
That's why we need to get in there, be loud, and be proud to be a supporter of our women's squad. This will be an awesome game!
Go Falcons! Beat Toledo!

Re: Here's our chance
I remember listening to the game on the net and heard some of the crap being yelled...even the WBGU announcers were commenting on the aholes there! Made that win even sweeter!!patrickbg wrote: Of course they yelled things at Coach Miller and our players, which is fine, we will never stoop to that level.

Re: Here's our chance
You've never sat near me for a game, that's for sure! I do cheer for the team constantly, but I also do yell at the away team and even our team for that matter. Sometimes everyone does stupid things and I try to let them know we see them. The yelling at opposing teams is negative, where the yelling at BG is constructive crisitismpatrickbg wrote:except at Anderson Arena.
