It's kids day at the Stroh, and from what I have read, attendance is around 3,000. Glad to have such a good turnout and to have so many young ones exposed to the game. It seems like a fun atmosphere.

Game tipped off at 11 this morning. After one, BG was up 21-9.

It's now the 2nd quarter, there's 4:30 left, and BG is up 31-19.

Wonder what the kids are yelling. I used to attend kids day @ Mudhens but got tired of 'Pitcher got a big butt' and 'batter batter swing.' Maybe the kids can learn counting and math skills and count backwards when the shot clock going off.

At halftime, BG is up 38-24.

We've shot the ball well, we're rebounding well, we're defending well. We look really good this morning.

BG up 38-24 @ half

Santoro 11 pts 5 rebounds. Possibly another double double.

BG wins 63-53

BG led by 22 in 2md half. C. Thompson led BG with 19 points off the bench.

Looking at the roster Myers and Puk are the only seniors so this could be a nice team next year as they continue to develop.

We won 63-53. Final score was a lot closer than the game was. Most of their scoring came after starters were pulled and we were just sitting on the ball.

Official attendance was over 4,100 - the biggest crowd ever at the Stroh, and the 2nd highest women's basketball attendance in program history!

That alone is a statement on the state of BG Basketball.

It was a great promotion. Very well done and organized. The music was better than what they normally play at games! :D

Did anyone notice #22 on Xavier? She only had 3 minutes total playing time coming into todays game, but more than doubled that today. Suppose the "boss" put the pressure on for her to get more playing time here? :-D

Wonder why he was a NO SHOW? #-o

I don't know Megan Christopher personally, but she always seemed like a nice kid, and nothing I saw today makes me want to change that opinion. Anyone who wants to hate on her father, go right ahead, but I'm asking in advance that you keep her out of it.

I don’t know her either and didn’t want to demean her in any way.

Everybody wants to rip on Greg Christopher and I don't want to hijack this thread into a former AD discussion but who do you think did a better job, Christopher or Kingston. Kingston bailed all together. At least Christopher moved on to a better conference.

Hands down, Christopher left the department in MUCH better shape than when he arrived. Kingston was nothing more than a parasite to athletics, especially from a budget perspective.

He may of left the department as a whole in better shape, but he severely hampered the hockey program. I am very glad that he is gone. Xavier can have him.
