High School Girls Basketball
I am looking for some help from my fellow Falcons out there. I am an assistant coach at a Junior College in Houston. We play in the toughest conference in the country, and I am currently looking to expand our recruiting base outside of the state and try to pick up some diamonds in the rough from my homestate. I think that the quality of basketball is still top notch in Ohio, and I know that there are a lot of girls out there that don't get the opportunity to play at the next level because they aren't in AAU ball, and don't play in bigtime high school programs. I am asking you guys to let me know if you know of anyone that has a lot of potential to be good. And hopefully we can develop them to go back and help out our Falcons. We are starting to develop into a program that is respected in the conference each year, but the girls that we have this year just aren't going to get us over the hump. They have all the talent in the world, but don't have that work ethic that is required to compete at the level we want. Junior College basketball isn't that strong in Ohio, but I have gained a true respect for it being here in Texas. This is my second year with the program, but my first year doing recruiting. We have been able to place a lot of our girls into four year colleges the last few years, and I am going to try to develop a relationship with Coach Miller whenever I can start to get some girls that I feel could only help the Lady Falcons. I would love to try and start developing some Ohio talent to send back to the Brown and Orange that can contribute immediatly. So if you have seen any girls that are legit, please let me know what High School they play for and their names and vital stats. I know this has been a pretty long post, but I am really trying to get girls that can help us make the postseason, win the toughest conference in the country(defending national champion is in the conference), and compete for a national championship. If you have any questions, check out sjcd.edu and click on the athletics click links. I thank you in advance. Here's to rolling along for a long time to come.
