This team is on the cusp of being good (not great, but good). Give Coach another two recruiting classes, at most, and BG will be challenging for the MAC again. It may even begin next year, depending on how well the newcomers can adjust and integrate themselves into this lineup.

For sure. Just taking the current roster and making them so much more competitive than they had been shows that she's the right person for the job. BG will be winning the MAC again under her leadership in due time.

I agree with the posts above. We are definitely a better team than we have been the last few years. The freshmen and sophomores are adapting well to Coach Fralick’s system, very likely because the upper classmen may need to do more de-programming from the previous leadership. Fundamental soundness is crucial at the college level, and that is taught to the players first, and then developed. Individual skill sets must be maximized, and individual weaknesses must be diminished. If a team is sound fundamentally, then execution becomes natural and mistakes become fewer. A great coach knows when to change things up when it’s not working, and has a Plan B and Plan C in the hip pocket when needed, as continuing to do the same stuff will net the same results. Keep working hard, Fralick & Company, and the rewards will come soon! Go Falcons!

We’ve been a team that has lived and died by the three ball over the last few years, and that’s okay to a point, if your depth from long range is as good as ours has been over the years. But in order to succeed, a team must be more than one-dimensional. We need scoring strength in the paint, fast break points, and players who can penetrate and finish in traffic. On the flipside, we’ve not been adept in DEFENDING the three ball, nor DEFENDING the opponents’ inside games. But that’s something our coaching staff has to tweak, and we know they all have the expertise to fine-tune the game on both ends of the floor. We knew it would be a transition year, as I don’t think anyone expected a miracle in Coach Fralick’s first year. But......there are definite signs of improvement, and now we need to turn those improvements into W’s. GO FALCONS!
