BG has tied the game at 55 with 3:15 to play.

BG had a chance with the ball, tied at 59, with 13 seconds to go, but Hempfling's triple doesn't fall, and we play on.

Fleming may have hurt her ankle on the putback after the buzzer. She looked like she landed on someone's foot and she was shaken up in the huddle, but she's still in the game to begin OT. Something to monitor here.

Buffalo survives in OT, 69-68.

Fleming had a shot to win it at the buzzer but she left it short. So close.

On to Cleveland!

Even if the game didn’t change anything, it still stings to lose one that close. Hoping they get to work and are ready if they face Buffalo or Northern Illinois this tournament.

Fair drives into the player who's guarding her, she initiates the contact, and BG gets called for blocking. Happened over and over again. Referees too stupid to make the right call. Meanwhile we go to the basket and there's no fouls called on Buffalo until the 4th quarter.

The justices ruled yes in a 9-0 decision.

I attribute this game to youth and inexperience (as much as the refs). When you have a team that is dominated by underclassmen, especially freshmen, games like this are all but inevitable. It's part of the growth process. Let's get healthy (if necessary) and hope they can add a MAC tourney title to this year's resume.
