The women's team is up against new D-1 school, Southern Indiana. They have gotten off to a solid 2-1 start, though one win was against a D-2 opponent. They lost to NIU (who seems to have a solid team this year) by only 8 on the road, so this may be a tougher game than one would guess. Hope they have a nice bounceback from the IU loss.

Go Falcons!

This is a damn fun team. Making it look easy against USI. Sharps has been the sharpshooter and it looks like Fleming has her touch back. Driving well and has hit a few threes.

BG wins 100-74, and that was after they let up and emptied the bench in the fourth. Good win!

I’ve decided I would rather follow WBB than MBB this year. It’s just a whole lot less toxic and frustrating to watch this team.

Yeah, sure. You'll learn that there's less drama and better coaching. Plus, when one or two players struggle, there are talented replacements to com in. Hempfling and Hampton struggled a bit today, but Tate and Dziekan took up the slack. Plus this team is fun to watch!

I still followed the men’s team during my undergrad years, but almost all of my positive memories of Falcon Basketball and Anderson Arena come from the the fantastic Miller years. I can’t say the same of the Orr led teams with Falcon hall of famers: Erger and Kraus.

I was fortunate to be at BG during some good years for FBall, Men's BBall, Hockey and Rugby. Fall of 80 thru the fall of 84. Hockey team won the National championship the year after I graduated (IIRC). FBall went undefeated 11-0 until coach Stolz announced his moving to SD State and we got bombed in a bowl game. We made a couple bowl games at a time when only 1 was available to the MAC. BBall did not make the dance but was still fun to watch with Colin Irish, Marcus Newberry, David Greer, Jenkins and John Faine etc............Rugby dominated the midwest as I remember it.

I don't remember if the women's teams were any good but I do enjoy watching them now.

Women's team started cranking in the late 80's under Fran Voll... Made a bunch of NCAA tournaments. I think they hosted a first-round game.

I'd rather watch them instead of the men...it's smarter, cleaner basketball
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
