Dang...hope the new coach can keep her around.

Re: Tate listed in Transfer Portal
I'm actually surprised and a little disappointed we haven't heard anything regarding the coach, yet. There is a ton of talent on this roster and in the recruiting class and to have any hope of keeping that intact, I think we need a coach in place in the next few days.

The fact that this has gone on even this long makes me think the AD is looking outside the program. Or at least taking a good, long look before making a decision. Hopefully, whomever gets hired can salvage most of the roster.

Re: Tate listed in Transfer Portal
Are the players entering the portal B1G caliber players? Wouldn't they have been on a B1G roster from the get go instead of a MAC roster?

I think some follow Fralick and others latch on somewhere else. It’s also entirely possible they are just checking their options and have the door open to return. Just a part of college sports now.

Re: Tate listed in Transfer Portal
I guess I'm asking if the players in the portal are actually good enough to follow Fralick to Lansing. I am assuming there's a BIG difference between B1G hoops and MAC hoops, right (see what I did there?)?

I think all three could play roles on big ten teams. Especially Tate.

Re: Tate listed in Transfer Portal
Agreed. Tate certainly has the highest ceiling of the 3 and athletically would fit right in the big 10. Both Hampton and Brett would also easily crack a big ten rotation but might not start.
We saw this happen with Buffalo last year, where the coach got the Syracuse job and took their best 2 players with her. Hope the same doesn't happen here but wishing all the best for those involved.
LONG LIVE THE MONGOOSE!!
