2 national titles at South Carolina, and they went 247-32 in his time there. Seems like there’s a lot of potential for him to be a very successful coach.

Certainly an exciting hire from a BiG time program....Success breeds success. He coached the current USC coach in the WNBA.

DVDM has been impressive so far...Signing Coach Tomic to an extension, hiring Coaches Chmiel and Simon. Coach Loeffler's extension is a 50/50 shot but I have a feeling DVDM made it crystal clear Scot has to produce, as in MAC titles. Then there's hockey to think about...

His bio says he was Mens BB HC at two small colleges early in his career before going to major programs as an assistant for WBB.

What an amazing hire. With that track record, if I were one of our recruits or one of our players in the portal, I would forget all about that stuff and stay put.

I had no idea we could even possibly pull a candidate of that quality.

This is the kind of hire you make after a successful season. Keep a good thing going by getting a top notch candidate. Hockey was here a few years ago and the school went the way of nepotism looked what happened there.
