They're just doing everything they can to get the case tossed. There's no real defense for what happened, so they're looking for that technicality. Wonder if she has a prior record. Should've been able to catch a simply "no contest" plea deal and it would've went away with just probation at most.

She plead no contest to an assault charge...fined $400 and placed on probation
