The 2023-24 schedule has been released, and BGSU will host South Carolina on Dec. 19. We also play Iowa and Indiana on the road. Those were the top three teams in the nation in last year's final AP poll.

Strongest schedule I can ever remember for any BG team outside of hockey.

Both games vs Bancroft High are on a Saturday this year, which is a huge win for the fans and women's basketball in the area as a whole. Both of those should be near sellouts.
No home game vs Ball State, so no homecoming game for Nyla Hampton. I was interested to see what type of welcome she would have gotten but now we'll never know.

Although the BGSUFalcon website (not a big fan of the new look and navigation) still shows TBA for the Savannah Tourney, Coach Chmel's twitter shows a picture of the schedule that states BG will be playing Mercer and Lehigh. Mercer had a losing record last year and while Lehigh was competitive in a tough schedule they lost their top 2 scorers who averaged near 40 a game between them. One graduated and the other transferred to Clemson.

Anyone going to the South Carolina game? Got a text from the athletic department stating that tickets are on sale to the public.
I will say, tickets are expensive. And I get it, because it’s a rare massive opponent coming here and it’s a guaranteed sellout. GA is $22 + $2 fee, and reserved is $25 + $3 fee. That’s pretty steep for a game at the Stroh. Lol
3 sections have already sold out, with another 2 listed at low availability. 2 months out still.

Probably wasn't cheap for BGSU to secure that game, so premium prices make sense.mbenecke wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 6:06 pm Anyone going to the South Carolina game? Got a text from the athletic department stating that tickets are on sale to the public.

The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

Still a steal in my opinion. I was expecting 25/35 on tickets.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 6:47 pmProbably wasn't cheap for BGSU to secure that game, so premium prices make sense.mbenecke wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 6:06 pm Anyone going to the South Carolina game? It’s not unaffordable by any means, I just had never seen it that high for a home game. Must’ve gotten too used to those free student tickets over the years. Lol
