A matinee special at Wright State today. Wright State isn't a bad team, but definitely one BG should be able to handle. Currently up 51-38 and Sharps has 14 points in the third quarter alone.

A 69-48 victory. Handled them pretty well. Now a week off until South Carolina visits the Stroh.

We are capable of playing some great D. Wright State had 26 points in the 3rd quarter and a combined 22 pts in the other 3 quarters.
Now it's time to SHOCK THE WORLD. Ay Zig.

Re: @ WSU 12/12
Yeah, it's hard to know what to expect with the posts from game to game. The Wright State game is the kind of game that I think Dziekan is capable of all the time. I don't necessarily expect a double-double every time, but she definitely has the potential to provide a solid, dependable performance at both ends night-in and night-out. Same with Olivia Hill, especially now that she's shown she can step out and hit the occasional 3-pointer. I think both of them can give the team some very good minutes each game.
Clerkley obviously had a great game vs. Duquesne, and hopefully we will see more of that from her. I feel like Porter is doubting herself at times. I know she has experience at two P5 schools, but she didn't play very much at either place. She had 20 points vs. Cleveland State in her BG debut, but has really seemed to struggle at times, both in terms of committing fouls and also appearing to be a little bit unsure and questioning herself. Hopefully she can continue to improve each game.
Our posts and all of their teammates will get two great tests next week as we play South Carolina and Indiana in a 4-day span. This should definitely prepare the team for MAC play.
