The women lost tonight at Kent by a score of 62-53. We could not hit a field goal or a 3 tonight. We were down 35-17 at the half and just could not get over the hill on this one. We had a much bettter second half. Thats just motivation to beat everyone else. Go Falcons!!!

I really hate Kent State. You know, if it wasn't for basketball and we had never moved to the West, I would guess that Kent would have a case of Falcon-envy that Toledo could only hope to aspire to. They just suck.

Kent read, Kent write, but Miller just can't seem to beat them...

I hate Kent as well, and if my sister ends up going there, I will have a new reason for the Falcons to destroy Kent in bball, both mens and womens, and humiliate them, just to say that my school beat her school.

Well Mo, even if basketball doesn't work out, we should annually destroy them in football if we move back to the east, so you'll definately have at least that to hang over her head.

Of course, like all other Kent students, she'll probably not even realize that they have a D-1 football program and focus solely on basketball because that and fasion studies are the only two things that they do well.

I think I heard that somewhere. If we move to the east, I can rag on Kent for my sister, and Akron for my mom, so that should be fun.

What a sickening game. I am FED UP with MAC officials!!! They were blowing calls at both ends and then calling stupid little fouls that just take up time. I don't even want to look at the box score to see our shooting stats. Both teams couldn't make shots it seemed. They kept giving us chances to get back in it but it never happened. Terrible game all over...now I see why we can't win there!

Metz nice to see you join me in the "Mac Officials suck" club. (what would they do if we made shirts like that ) And i too hate kent. 2nd to toledo i might hate them the most.... no maybe miami, or ohio... no marshall... oh well, i don't have a problem with buffalo

Most frustrating game I've watched in some time. We could not hit ANYTHING ALL NIGHT!!!! That freakin' building is a house of horrors for both BG hoops teams! I hate losing there!

Liz Honegger scored ONE point, was 0-10 from the field and had only 3 rebounds. I wonder if her foot injury was causing this. Carin Horne had a great game with 20 points and 9 boards.

BG shot 19% from the field in the 1st half...19%. 26% for the game. BG was THREE for 25 from 3pt land....16-61 from the floor. OUCH! :shrug:

And a stat that really hurts, BG had 17 turnovers, Kent? 26!!!!

The officials were noticably one sided in the 1st half in Kent's favor...Coach Miller said something to one of the refs on the way to the locker room and got T'ed. Coach turns around and claps in the ref's face. I think he borrowed a page outta the Dan Dakich book.

Just one of those nights.....BG is still a better team than Kent, I firmly believe that.

Week off for the team...then 2 home games with NIU and Ohio U. We'll get back on track! Together we attack!!

Hey, BG leads the all time series in every sport, except Baseball, with Kent State. So there, Kent!

My parents, older sister and I are all BG grads. My younger sister went to BG for one year then transferred to Kent State. She has been shunned ever since.

That whenever Carin Horne scores big like around 20 or more we seem to lose, why I don't know, buts its becoming a weird trend. What I'm guessing is that Kent just decided to double up Mann and Honneger and force everybody else to beat us. Frankly the ladies don't play well when Mann or Honngeger are off on a particlular night. What happened to Kapfur this game? Did she play at all?
