Daytona Beach Classic

Post by threestooges »

No Donahue, no Ellis, no Fleming, no McGuff and no Simpson -- but no problem against Stetson as the Falcons won, 79-43, on Friday afternoon in Daytona Beach. Gerken and Porter each had 20 points, and Velasco had 16 points and 10 assists. BGSU plays Arkansas on Saturday.

BG beats Arkansas! They trailed by 12 at the half and came out on too after a back and forth 4th quarter. Nice win after a rough start to the season.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Heard today that Donahue and Fleming will be back this weekend! That will certainly be a great lift for the team. Ellis will be out until January and Simpson is out for the year.

Great showing by the ladies and a great opportunity this month upcoming with some solid comp. Xavier should be a W but they have improved from a year ago, and marquette & duquense should be great tests respectively. Too bad on simpson, she showed some promise and hope she makes a full recovery, but glad to hear on lexi/donahue and ellis not being long term.
