Now that's more like it. The Falcons pretty much dominated from start to finish, other than a second-quarter stretch, and won at Ohio 74-53. Fleming had 19 points and now has 999 in her career. Kohler had 18 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. BG is home for the next two games, vs. NIU Saturday and WMU next Wednesday.

Just when I was ready to write off this team lol..

Great win. Wondering if Moxey is hurt or in the doghouse. She played 1 possession against Buffalo, picked up an obvious offensive foul, got an aggressive chewing out from Chimiel, and did not return in that game nor has she played in the 2 games since.

I heard she got ill before the Miami game and is still recovering. Nothing long-term or personal.

Just wanted to chime in here and say good win.

I feel like we owe it to the program to not ONLY talk about it when we feel like being negative, so let's celebrate the wins here too.

Let me see if I can do this right....

Ohio women's basketball continues to be DOMINATED by the BGSU women's basketball team. Ohio has now won just 34 times in 94 meetings. PATHETIC. Bowling Green has won 11 MAC tournament titles while the Bobcats have won just 3. PATHETIC I fully expected Ohio to lose to Bowling Green, but they didn't just lose...they got EMBARRASSED on their home court. PATHETIC.

I agree. I might be one of the worse ones. A good victory and the program's FIRST road win in 10 calendar months!

OU put some pressure on them, but they didn't fold and took over the game in the 2nd half. Great to see...

Ohio women's basketball is a prime example of something hammb has brought up when discussing Loeffler and his contract situation, being good enough to keep your job in the MAC but not good enough for a bigger school to hire you away. Bob Boldon has been at OU since 2013, they made the NCAA tournament his second year there in 2015. Two deep WNIT runs in 16 and 19, was in the MAC tournament semifinals before COVID ended that in 2020, and its been downhill for that program ever since

Agreed. 2021-22 season was their most promising season after Covid and they were exactly .500 when they had one of the best players in the MAC. Since then, they haven't gotten above .367 winning percentage. Could not find anything on his latest contract as the most recent news update was a 5-year extension in 2015 through 2020. The Bobcat Attack message board says he is in the first year of a new deal, which is quite surprising considering their recent lack of success.

I suspect that some schools will keep a coach around if they do well enough competitively but not championship level and don't do anything to embarrass the school. I think that's what we have here at BG with Loeffler..and that may be what OU's doing with women's hoops
