On the road against the best team in the conference. Probably a 20+ point loss. Here is to hoping we make it interesting.

Right on the money with the 20+ point loss. I will gladly offer up the same result on Saturday as Arkansas State looks like a solid team on paper. If this team does not make it to Cleveland, all hell will break loose.

We’ve reached the stage where we need to tell you how great the AD is doing. The old BG News puff piece while the basketball programs fall apart.

To be fair, I think Derek has done a really nice job as AD. Overall, the department feels strong and healthy. There are some obvious areas for improvement, but I think it feels more competent than it has in years. It feels like the momentum/trajectory for most programs is positive. Would you dispute that?

The team is struggling with a number of seniors on the roster...next year could be a real dumpster fire if his recruits don't pan out.

Those who have momentum don't need to tell you over and over that they have momentum.

Plus the non-seniors who are transferring out... I don't think he receives an extension and will return to South Carolina in 3 1/2 years.
