This league for women's bball is getting very weird. After looking untouchable during the non-conf part of the schedule, EMU is now looking average. They lost their third MAC game at Kent yesterday.
Akron who was looking like the worst team in all of college basketball has now won 3 of 4 league games including a win yesterday over Western Mich, who recently beat EMU.
If Ball State holds on today versus Miami, they will be quietly alone in first place in the MAC west, a half game ahead of BG.

Just a few weeks ago, I was thinking this was a two team race. Now, everyone is looking like they have a shot, especially Marshall(who has won 6 in a row), Ball State, and Kent (as well as BG and EMU).


Who is everyone's prediction for MAC champ now?
In Cleveland, I still feel EMU is the team to beat personally.

EMU is defending champs so of course they are the team to beat I honestly think this is the year women's and men's hoops will be making NCAA appearances though...give it time!!

I say EMU is still the fave but BG and Kent are contenders as well. Ball State just won their 5th straight with a win over Miami and moved a 1/2 game ahead of BG in the West for 1st place.
