Stefanie Finkel is no longer part of the Bowling Green softball team. The loss leaves BGSU with Kristen Anderson as the only senior on roster for the fall season. The loss of Finkel shouldn't hurt the Falcons much if at all considering she saw little playing time for last year's MAC Tournament Champs. She most likely would not have seen any playing time this year with the core outfield of Baca, Ramsey, and Steigerwald returning for their sophomore seasons. I have to say that even with the loss of Finkel, this could be one of the strongest softball teams that Leigh Ross-Shaw has put together.

Do you know if she is still at BG or did she transfer? I know she didn't have a lot of playing time but we still need good back-ups in case of injuries or other problems. The few games I did see her play in, she looked like she had potential to start but I still didn't see it happening being this was her senior year (she still only has 1 or 2 letters). All the girls on the bench showed great support for their team last season at every game and it's sad to see any of them leave really.

She didn't transfer, she still attends BGSU. It is sad to see girls leave the program, but if the love for the game isn't there then I guess it's best to just move on.
