as MAC Pitcher of the Week. Even though the Falcons suffered thru an 0-6 tourney in Virginia, Liz was named POTW. On the weekend, Vrabel walked four batters and had 13 strikeouts in 20 total innings of work.
Included in that was a tough 1-0 loss to Kentucky and Liz pitched a 10 inning complete game.
Liz is sure to garner this honor a few more times this season...
The Falcons, 0-6 on the year, return to action this weekend. BGSU will head to Fullerton, Calif., for the Worth Invitational. BG's five games in that tournament will begin Friday (March 4), with contests vs. Minnesota and Pacific. The Falcons also face Cal State Fullerton, Nevada and Northwestern in that tourney.
