Congratulations to Coach Miller on being named MAC Coach of the Year. After the past two seasons it was inevitable that he was the heavy favorite.
Kate Endress (Ball State)- Player of the Year
Heather Turner (Buffalo)-Freshman of the Year
Malika Willoughby (Kent State)- Defensive Player of the Year
Simone Redd (Ohio)- Sixth Man of the Year
Not to take away from Endress, but I really thought EMU's Ryan Coleman was going to be the Player of the Year, but I guess that is the way it goes sometimes.
I know what you will say golfer, but it is also unfortunate that Kate Achter did not make Freshman of the Year, although I am sure she was voted in at a close second place.
Congrats to all of the MAC award winners. Now let's just hope the Falcons take one more award for the year... MAC Tournament Champions!!!

Kate Achter is a starting pg on a winning team for the entire year mostly. How does Kate get snubbed. I did hear that Kate just missed out on the FOY award by just a couple of votes or so. Ridiculous in my opinion. Who else has their freshman pg starting and averging 10 pts a game and 5-6 rebounds and 5 assists a game? Without Ackter our offense does not run a peak efficiency. Cuz really , we have no other better pure pg right now at this moment than Achter.
