Think the 1st two rounds are played at the home site of the higher seed.

NO! They have set locations. None of this NIT crap. I'm personally hoping BG plays their first and second round games in Knoxville, because it's a very easy drive from Lexington. Plus, as you can see, it's much cheaper then the other venues.

Wow, there's no real "close" regional to BG, is there? Everything is at least 8 or so hours (not knowing at all how far Knoxville is).

Of course, if they make the Final Four, you can crash on my couch, Freak.

If we were to happen to make the Final Four, we'd all be paying out our noses since the games are already shown as being sold-out. So Tony, you may have more than just Freak on your hands in order for everyone to save enough money to scalp our tickets.

Women's Final Four
April 3 and 5, 2005
RCA Dome (28,937)
Indianapolis
Hosts: Butler University and Horizon League
Ticket Info: SOLD OUT

Last year when EMU won, they got to play Boston College in Columbus. Looks like we will have no such luck with location if we win today.

It wasn't all that long ago that one of the participating teams got to host a first round game in the tournament and sometimes a second game as well. The NCAA wanted to insure good attendance in the early rounds. To say that was an unfair advantage for the home team is obvious. I recall when BG hosted, and beat UC in a first round game a few years ago. Of course, it was usually the bigger schools that were given the opportunity to host the first round games. At least now they have levelled the playing field so to speak for all the teams.
