Can someone explain me what they see wrong here. Here is some information about the game tickets from both schools websites:

Kansas State:

Fourth-seeded Kansas State (23-7) will take on 13th-seeded Bowling Green (23-7) in the 2005 NCAA Women’s Basketball Chamionship First and Second Rounds on March 19 & 21 at Bank of America Arena in Seattle. Adult tickets are available for $16 by calling the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at: 1-800-221-CATS.

Bowling Green

The BGSU women's basketball team will be the 13th seed and will face #4 Kansas State, Saturday, March 19 in Seattle in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The winner will play either #5 Vanderbilt or #12 Montana on Monday, March 21 to advance to the Kansas City Regional March 27 and 29.

Starting times for Saturday's game will not be announced until Monday. Tickets are $40 for adults and $24 for students. To order tickets through BGSU, contact the Falcon Athletics Ticket Office at 877-BGSUTicket

KSU tickets are cheaper than the prices BG lists for students. And if you take the effort to call out to Seattle, they told me tickets were $22.00 for adults, in the lower sections, and that is for both games. Seems to me BG prices are a little inflated. Oh by the way, KSU and even out in Seattle DO NOT charge a processing fee.

If you look on the NCAA's website. They show the following:

Bank of America Arena (9,394)
Seattle
Host: University of Washington
Ticket Info
Price: $40 Adult, $24 Student
Phone: 206/543-2200
Web site: www.gohuskies.com

My guess is BG is just charging what they were told to charge by the NCAA. I can offer no explanation as to why KSU's tickets or when you call to Seattle that their tickets are cheaper. Quick to the Mystery Machine.

Perhaps it all goes back to the thing were we HAVE to commit to a certain monetary figure like for the MAC tourney.

KSU, a national power, feels it will be able to sell more tickets at a cheaper price to commit to $xx while BG must charge a higher fee because it feels less people will be purchasing tickets.
