Great Start vs. Kstate

We are tied 29-29 at the under 4 timeout (first half) and I have no one to discuss the game with right now so I need to post to vent.
Wow, this is intense. Curt has a great gameplan so far on both sides of the ball. But, like I said, it is intense and I dont know if I can handle another half of this stuff!!!

We are up 33-32 at halftime, we keep playing like this and I smell upset.

Yeah, I couldnt ask for anything more at halftime!! The ladies are playing very hard right now! Were giving K-State all they can handle!
Surprising is Liz has 7 or more rebounds at half agianst probably a 6'2 or 6'3 girl Big !12 girl!! Excellent!!!!!!

63-54 k state with 2:57 left. great effort tonight but it looks like we might come up a little short.

KSU 70, BGSU 60. Tuff loss for the ladies. Really good game. KSU was just able to produce in the 2nd half where weren't. It's too bad because the ladies played a really good game. Kinda a disapointing end to a good season, but the ladies have nothing to be ashamed of. We're still proud of you.

If we shot better from the line and didn't shoot so poorly from 3, we'd be celebrating a big win right now. 10 points certainly doesn't reflect how close this game was, congrats to the team on a championship season.
BG shoots 30% from the field......

And only loses by 10!! Man! If we coulda only made some free throws and made a little more of our shots we coulda easily won! I believe just shooting 37 or 38% could've gotten us a win, also assuming we played just as good defense as we did or better! We definitley made huge strides over what we were early in the season when we played OSU and New Mexico. If we played K-State back in early December we probably get blown out pretty bad but we're making good strides forward! We still so young people, we got Honneger ,Ali , Carin ,Thorburn for 2 more years and Kate for 3 more!! I sure hope we can keep Miller for many years to come!
