There is a little blurb on pg 1 of this week's Sports Illustarted on Campus in thefacebook.com facts of the week column that the Bowling Green Women's bball team is "waging a battle against the ridiculous ban of cutoffs in the weight room". If they are talking about the rec I totally agree.

It's definitely not about the rec and thefacebook group is directed towards a few specific people. I can't believe SI on campus is actually caring about something as stupid as that. It shows just how fast football needs to roll around!

Actually, the only reason I pick up a BGNews is because of the SIOC. Great stuff, I like the crosswords.
Go Falcons

they're talking about cut-offs in the stadium weight room.
cut-off t-shirts were allowed until some females on the other teams took advantage of it and started wearing skanky cut-off outfits to appeal to the male teams out there. the facebook group is just a joke. there is no real battle to get cut-offs back.
cut-offs are convenient because of the range of motion they allow of your arms; however, it's not to show off your muscles and other body parts as some athletes had taken it.
this is straight from #25 herself. no BS about it.
