The Falcons dropped the first game 5-0. BG only had 2 hits (Baca and McPherson) while Vrabel struck out 5 of the 20 batters she faced before getting some relief from Kristen Anderson. Game 2 started around 7:15 and is still in progress.

Big Ten school's (Mostly tOSU and UM) are known for their ignorance in smaller athletic schools. They think they're the only ones who even exist in the Midwest. Really, they're just very stuck up.

It's all about "Big Brother State University" getting whatever they want and thinking they are all that and a bag of chips (hopefully sour cream and onion). Basically they think they are more than they are and every other university in Ohio gets to live in their shadow. Most people on here are tired of it but a few have taken a VERY long walk of a VERY short pier.

The second game looked ugly by the looks of it. Is our pitching usually that off?

Just put it this way, if you come to BG and stay home to watch the buckeyes over free BG games, I will never like you. The people who go here but put the suckeyes first in their lives confuse me and sicken me...I just can't take it anymore!golfertk14 wrote:what's this whole Buckeyes/Falcons rivakry hatred???

There's also a Michigan problem with what I've noticed.

Ouch....ugly night for BG.
EMU swept Kent State so now EMU is 9-8 MAC and Kent is 9-9. Right now BG (8-8 MAC) is tied with Kent for 7th in the MAC. Buffalo is 8-5 and BG hosts the Bulls for 3 this weekend. We need every game cuz we close with CMU up there in Mt. Not So Pleasant. Top 6 make the Tournament.
Liz Vrable did become the career strikeout leader in BG history...506. And Liz will be back next year for her Senior season. Congrats, Liz!

You're a good man, Metz. Hopefully, we can put a nice streak together and get back to Firestone Stadium.McMetz811 wrote:Every game counts for sure!
