Softball takes both Saturday games!!

1-0 (8 innings) and 8-0 (5 innings) over Buffalo! The first game was pretty uneventful and we left a lot of runners on base. Finally rallied in the 8th though for Vallas to hit in the game winner. The 2nd game was just a lot of good hitting and base-running by BG. Congrats to the ladies and beat Buffalo tomorrow!!! GO BEEG :D

NICE!! Buffalo was 3 games ahead of BG in the loss column going into this weekend. If we can win Sunday, we'll be in pretty good shape getting a Tournament berth. BG now 10-8 MAC, Buffalo is now 8-7. Need to get the sweep with a 3 game series at CMU looming on the horizon.

GO BEEG! SWEEP DA BULLS!

So I was about to correct you and say we are 11-8 but then I looked at BGSUFalcons.com and it says Marshall was a non-conference game. How exactly does that work out? They are still in our conference this year so the only thing I could think of was we needed another out-of-conference game and decided to have one with Marshall. Other than that, I can't make any sense out of it.
