Miami beats BG, 2-0.

MAC TOURNEY-Game was scoreless and then Miami scored twice in the bottom of the 6th...including a HR by Robinson. Liz Vrable had only given up 2 hits until this last inning.

Now we have to play the loser of the next game, CMU vs. EMU, tomorrow at 11 AM.

Win or go home! Last year we lost the first game to WMU, 3-0, and then reeled off 5 wins in a row to win the Tourney.

The title of this thread upset me for some reason, other than I hate seeing BG lose to Miami, especially come tournament time. Perhaps it's that I don't like seeing Miami's name first in a thread. Maybe we could go with something like, BG Rocks, in other news BG lost to Miami, them bastards. I hope your correct and BG can reel off a few wins.

against Miami in most sports doesnt' seem real good anyway. Gosh I can't wait for us to crush the Miami Redhawks this year in football , its been way too long , I not remember when we last beat them in football!

I'm pretty sure it was 1997, I was a sophomore. We were something like 3-8 that year and Miami just happened to be one of our wins. Since then we're something like 0-6 against Miami.

What a terrible loss. Our catcher dropped a foul ball for an out while the count was 3 and 2. On the next pitch, the Miami girl hits it over the fence. Vrabel threw at least 10 pitches to her in that at bat...she was fouling off everything. I believe it was the girl from the Toledo area (Central Catholic maybe??). For some reason it seems BG has this momentum problem. When we start doing good, we score a lot of runs and usually force the mercy rule. But when things start slipping, they snowball.

BG lost the first game of the tournament last year and still advanced to win it so have faith fellow Falcons!! Hopefully they will show some composure under the pressure if one or two runs get scored on them tomorrow and come out with the W! GO BEEG!!

Very tough loss, Metz! Kent and Marshall play at 10 am today...their game was cancelled last night due to rain. BG then plays EMU afterwards. EMU lost to CMU yesterday.

Just win one game at a time....one at a time....

The girl who hit the home run, Breanne Robinson is the younger sister of Ryne Robinson, wide receiver for Miami, and yes they are from Toledo Central Catholic
