Bills, Miami's #6 hitter hit a home run. Miami is us 1-0 after 1 1/2 innings.

I hate Miami. In every way in every sport. Sorry to all the Miami fans that post on this board, I just hate Miami. :D The whole crowd was really into it today and definitely helped in the first game. The 2nd game seemed to be like a lot of others this year where we get behind and can't make the come back. Gina Rango hit a TOWERING shot to left field that probably could have cleared the 300ft mark but it went foul. Everyone on our lineup impressed me at some point today. This is such a great team, it was a heartbreaker to see them lose.

IMO, Gouge should have never been taking out of the 2nd game...it just seemed like they didn't want to give her a chance once it was 2-1. Vrabel was amazing in both games like always. Just an incredible season...

About our lone senior, Kristen Anderson...she turned 22 today and is also #22 on the team. I guess it probably wasn't a good day for her at all.

I don't know what else to say besides I can't wait until next season! GO BEEG!

Vrabel will still be around another year...she was only a junior this year. We will definitely need to pick up another pitcher either next year or the following year because when Vrabel's time is up, so is Heimrich's. That will leave us with only Gouge, who was a freshmen this past year. Gouge is an amazing pitcher as well so that's not a bad thing, she just can't be our only pitcher. Next year will be the senior season for Vrabel (P), Heimrich (1B/P), Habicht (C), and Rango (3B).

On another note, Vrabel was named to the MAC All-Tourney team.
