I made a brief visit to campus yesterday and happened to have an opportunity to eyeball our inc oming women's bball class in its entirety. They were apparently registered as a group for Orientation-Registration and, escorted by coach Poole, were starting their college experience.
First impressions are just that, but the group sure looked athletic. Jazz Hall has that quick point guard appearance. DePrice Taylor looked a little taller than I expected. Goldsberry (who I have seen play several times) looked to be in excellent shape. Groover could be identified by her Indiana HS shirt and looks like a space eater typer kid. Jessica McKenzie stood out by height and look as she cuts quite an athletic looking picture for a taller player.
It isn't much of a report, but, hey, it was fun to see them.
Go Falcons!

Cool! Yeah, we need more athletizm as Coach Miller has said before. We'll need some post players that are quick and athletic to counter the fact that we dont' have any 6'3 ,6'4 girls to pound the ball to. This is good. I'm getting more excited for baskeball season allready not to mention football!
