Giving credit to the women....

I have to give a ton of credit to the BGSU Women's teams for their performance the past couple years. The hoops team is the defending MAC Champ and loaded again. The soccer team is in first and, with a win over that school up 75 Friday, will win their first outright MAC Regular Season title. They are the defending Tourney Champs. Softball has done well with a MAC Tourney title in 2004. The Swimming and Diving teams have improved under Kerri Buff and are looking to make waves in the MAC.
Volleyball, under the leadership of Coach Van De Walle, is back to their winning ways this year. Tennis, CC, golf and track are all competitive in the MAC. These student-athletes do VERY well in class, which is outstanding.

We have superb coaches like Curt Miller, Andy Richards, Van De Walle, Leigh Ross-Shaw, Buff, Camy Wells, Peggy Dean...

And credit to Paul Krebs for hiring the majority of these coaches.

Just thought it needed to be said.

Having met Coaches Miller, Van de Walle, and Ross I can tell they lvoe coaching at BG. I think our men's teams could learn a thing or 2 from the women on how to win the MAC or a championship.
