Emily Manser Captures MAC West Division Player Of The Week

Manser is the second Falcon to earn the award this season.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Bowling Green State University volleyball player Emily Manser has been named this week's MAC West Division Player of the Week after leading the Falcons to a 2-0 start in league play, the program's first 2-0 start since 1998.
Manser and the Falcons posted wins over Toledo and Northern Illinois this past weekend. The junior had 12 kills, 17 digs and three aces in a win over the Rockets, snapping UT's 10-match win streak. She then added 15 kills, 16 digs and four blocks in a win over the Huskies. For the week, Manser averaged 3.38 kills, 4.12 digs and 4.00 points per game while hitting .350.
Manser joins senior Melissa Mohr as Falcons to earn a player of the week nomination after Mohr captured the award back on Sept. 13.
