Questions for Paul Krebs

On February 4, I'm going to have the opportunity to sit down with BGSU athletic director, Paul Krebs and ask him some questions. I'd like to use this thread to collect questions from the Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com membership to present to Mr. Krebs.

Please post your questions, concerns and praises here.

A word of caution: If this thread breaks down like so many others do, I'll just delete it and go with my own questions.

Thanks! Myself and Mr. Krebs look forward to getting some of your questions answered!

There have been some concerns with the amount of canned music being played... People prefer the band. Maybe ask about that?

Is there any kind of a plan in place or in the works to market this team, along with Women's soccer more widely? They have been 2 of our most successful programs over the past few years and I don't really see a change in the marketing or mindset. Thanks.

I agree with J4H - we need to market our Gymnastics and Women's Soccer more.

Is there any thought what so ever to go back to playing men's and women's games on the same night/day? They could alternate times as to who gets the marquee game in the evening.

We who travel to get to the games LOVED that. Now we just travel more.
Will they ever consider it an experiment gone wrong?

How does title 9 affect this? Honest question. High schools are under title 9 rules as well and I know that Perrysburg has gone this route in order to get a larger attendance at the girls games, at least for some friday games. It doesn't have to be all of them, but a couple a year would be nice in my opinion.

-oops sorry Grant, forgot this was for questions only. I like AaF's question.

Are we sticking with the "chicken hawk" logo.
I really prefer the simple falcon logo, it's bold and memorable.
The chicken hawk resembles the redhawk too much. Just curious.

I've actually heard that the new logo has helped to increase merchandise sales.

My heart felt good when I saw more BG hats than UT hats at Franklin Park last weekend.

How does Paul plan on keeping Curt Miller at BGSU? He has done a wonderful job and he seems to love it here, but I assume other programs are taking notice.

Please allow me to second this question. I was just about to post it!
