to march alumni band or not
I'll admit I'm a bit on the crazy side. At one point in my life a rather major vein in my wrist got cut open badly when I was carrying a dryer down some stairs with somebody and she dropped it on me and I got sliced by sheet metal. I sealed it shut on my own and never went to a doctor because I didn't want her to feel bad. I marched two weeks with a broken rib until I collapsed on the band field on a game day morning. But even I say the popcorn is a better idea.

you failed to mention that you had to hold on to the hat racks to keep from falling over
ps...don't forget to bring me your coat

Secret to the backbend and keeping balance is to aim your head your heels and not the ground directly behind you. You need to keep you center of balance as much forward as possible. Having a mace as a counter-balance also helps.SaxyGirl85 wrote:The Niz wrote:I will do it. I was in the equipment room earlier today before rehearsal and I found the old busby hats. Besides, you can use it as later pressure to get him/her to join band. "You were on the marching field when you were in utero, pal.... you're joining!!"
ETA- Seriously though... checking with your doc would probably be a good idea before you commit.

The first time I made it without help, and the second time would have left us short a hat if I hadn't reached out. Then I would have to buy two.SaxyGirl85 wrote:The Niz wrote:I will do it.
