Maybe some band people can tell us the result-game is coming up soon so I'm sure they've heard from the AD. How about it FMB members? How bad was the reaming from the Athletic Department?

If anything has gotten to Dr. Hayward about it yet, we have yet to hear it ourselves. But perhaps she might just be talking to drum majors and/or leadership about that though as it's a little easier to have leadership do it and "enforce" it rather than her try to do it all herself...so if the FMB is to get a "reaming" as you put it h20, we have yet to get it. Don't think though that we are waiting and wanting it though. I am curious though to hear after the game whether we get blamed for a loss or if people will stop if we win.

I was kidding- my guess is the Athletic Department is fine with the band or you'd have heard before. Pretty sure that a call from a guy from your opponnent's school isn't going to spur your AD to take swift action over nothing.

So true. I remember the penalty in 2004 when the band stopped playing for the rest of the game. GB came back and said that the band should have kept playing.

As someone who also graduated from Wauseon, I can assure you that Rob Cintron was never the director there. You may be thinking of Maumee, or even Swanton....

Tracy Behrman and Eric Boswell are the directors at Wauseon. Behrman has been there for quite a while.

Maumee, Wauseon..what's the difference :P You're right, that's what I was thinking. I knew him from his time at Swanton and was there the year before he left. Just got mixed up on which school he went to.

Yeah, you're right, Wauseon and Maumee do have fairly similar band programs. For a while when I was in high school they had the same drill writers and much of the same staff as well. Of course that has all changed, but there are still many similarities in the programs.
